Members of the SNBCG activated the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker over the easter weekend. Selim M0XTA activated 144 MHz working people all over the SE UK. George M1GEO used the 3e beam, this allowed activation on 14, 21 and 28 MHz.
I operated 7 MHz using the ground-mounted vertical antenna. The elevated radials help maintain a low angle of radiation.
Band conditions were not that good, but George worked a selection of DX on 21 and 28 MHz
